Developed as an alternative to wood burning and gas fireplaces, the Real Flame VividFlame™ electric fireplace insert mimics the look of a real, flickering fire, but does not require a chimney or vents and conveniently plugs into a standard outlet. This contemporary indoor fireplace can be hung directly on the wall, recessed into the wall for a built-in look or stand on the included feet. Features six flame color options, five flame brightness levels, adjustable thermostat, timer function and automatic safety shut-off. The electric firebox insert provides supplemental heat for rooms up to 1,000 sq ft or the heater can be turned off so you can enjoy the comforting ambiance of a glowing fireplace year-round. Electric firebox with log set, two types of filler, mounting bracket, hardware and a remote control are included.
Includes electric firebox with a front glass panel, remote control, 6' power cord with lay-flat plug, hardware, mounting bracket, wall brackets, log set, crystal filler and stone filler
Real Flame® electric fireplaces mimic the look of a real fire but do not require a chimney or vents and plug into a standard three-prong outlet. After assembly, place your fireplace in the desired location, install the anti-topple device if required, plug into an outlet, and turn on the firebox by using the touch controls or remote control. The LED flames flicker realistically and the incorporated heater warms your room. The thermostat is adjustable so the heater can be turned off and you can enjoy the charm of a fire year-round. Customize your fireplace using the brightness settings, timer function and, in some models, flame color. Styles include traditional mantels, media cabinets, wall-mounted and recessed fireplaces.

The insert looks amazing in our feature wall!

Shipping was quick and the fireplace arrived in great condition. The unit is well made and everything fits right & tight. The flame visual took a bit to get used to, as the flames appear to be moving faster than expected (as compared to a Real Flame stand along fireplace we have). I believe this visual is simply a result of having a much wider flame area, and your eyes picking up on all of the movement from all of the flames at once.

A: With how the unit is build, there are no space requirements behind the unit. It can be flush to the other side of a wall and would be perfectly fine.

Q: Is there a requirement for distance from top of fireplace to a mantle or TV?
1 Answer
A: The clearance above the unit is more for the length at a minimum from the ceiling it should be. However it is perfectly safe to mount a TV or mantle right over the unit, due to the fireplace having fan forced heat. This means that when the heater is on, there is a fan that will blow past it and blow it out and away from the firebox. The heat will not just drift straight up, so it is perfectly safe to mount a tv over the unit. Sincerely, Real Flame Customer Service - NC
